April 17: It's been a busy week. Tuesday was pretty sunny, Judy and I crossed the river and walked all over the place, happening upon the Alpenzoo and MCI's Turismo facility. Both are climbing up the hill toward Hungerberg and afforded really nice views of Innsbruck and the mountains surrounding us. But we didn't bring our camera! Walking back, we took a different route and went by a small protestant church. I am not sure if it has a denomination (or even if there is such a thing here). It had a plaque to Martin Luther -- somewhat surprising to find in a town and country completely dominated by Catholicism -- but some of its literature used words that looked a lot like "presbyterian." Perhaps we'll solve that mystery one day, but for the time being Judy and I decided to try to come back and attend a service next Sunday. Should be interesting!
Here are some scenes from town, mostly from our hotel balcony.
